Documents You’ll Need
Your consultant will confirm the exact list for your situation and guide you step-by-step through uploading everything securely.
Full-Time Employed – Checklist
- Latest 3 months’ consecutive payslips (must be verifiable in bank account).
- If receiving allowances/commission/variable pay: latest 6 consecutive payslips.
- Detailed Income & Expenditure statement, signed by applicant(s).
- Latest 3 months’ bank statements, stamped by the bank (not internet statements).
- If receiving variable income: latest 6 months’ statements.
- Statement of Assets & Liabilities, signed by applicant(s).
- Non-SA citizen: copy of valid residence & work permits.
- Rental contracts for any rental income used to assess affordability.
- Clear copy of identity document(s).
- Offer to Purchase (fully completed and signed by Seller & Buyer, with at least one witness to each signature).
Self-Employed – Checklist
- Latest 2 years audited business financial statements.
- Letter from auditor confirming personal income.
- If financials are > 6 months old: up-to-date signed management accounts.
- Cash-flow forecast for the ensuing 12 months.
- Personal Statement of Assets & Liabilities.
- Personal & business bank statements (latest 6 months, all banks) – each page stamped by bank branch.
- IT34.
- Company/CC/Trust statutory documents.
- Identity document(s) of directors/members/trustees.
- Offer to Purchase (fully completed and signed by Seller & Buyer, with at least one witness to each signature).
